The Clark House Inn is located in Vineyard Haven on the beautiful Island of Martha’s Vineyard. The Dutch Colonial styled home was built in 1906 with many features that help our guests enjoy their Island stay. The rooms, the enclosed wrap-around porch and the private brick patio with gazebo, all provide places to relax before and after the day's activities. Each room offers luxurious bedding, spa quality towels & robes, a private bath, air conditioning (heat in the winter), iron/board, hair dryer, personal care amenities, cable TV, telephone and wireless internet access. Each morning we offer a full breakfast that includes homemade waffles, egg dishes, bacon, fresh fruit salad, freshly baked breads, juices, coffee and tea. Bicycles are provided on a first come first serve basis.
Your Hosts - Lisa and Bud Rusche welcome you to join them for a complimentary, "breakfast party" each morning. Breakfast is served during the summer season on the enclosed front porch or the gazebo patio area. During the winter season, breakfast is served in the dining room.
Once you have been a guest here, you become part of our Inn family. We hope that you, like many of our guests, will return every year to the Island and the Inn. The Inn is within walking distance of the Vineyard Haven ferry as well as the town, shopping, restaurants, movie theater, tennis, bike path and the ocean.
Martha's Vineyard is an Island that is eight miles off of the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It can only be accessed by ferry or plane. The Steamship Authority will transport your automobile for you.
The Island is comprised of six towns: Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, West Tisbury, Chilmark, Menemsha and Aquinnah (formerly Gay Head). The ferry comes into Vineyard Haven year round and seasonally into Oak Bluffs.
Lisa Rusche first came to the Island over 40 years ago as a summer resident. Now she and Bud enjoy greeting guests and sharing "the Best of the Vineyard" secrets and stories.
